To recap the past month, we played a charity sci-fi convention on New Year's Eve and were able to ring in 2012 with the fabulous and self-described "nerds" of Futurecon. Our first official show of 2012 was back at The Horseshoe Tavern, and we has a blast.
Our video for "Army of Daughters" that we shot in December 2011 is now complete, and to celebrate we are going to have a video premiere party, and YOU are invited.
On Sunday February 19th, please join us on the second floor of Tequila Bookworm, 512 Queen St West in Toronto, starting at 3 p.m.
Directed by the Gemini award-winning editor Alvin Campaña, the video was shot over one weekend, and features a series of character transformations created by talented MAC makeup artist Glen Daniel.
In addition, there will be music video screenings featuring the Toronto-based band The Ruby Spirit and the Hamilton-based Wax Mannequin along with the vinyl spinning grooves of Alex P., with his with his blend of rockabilly, surf, glam and electro, and our own Alex Leger with an oldies and pop set.
And its FREE!
We were extremely fortunate to have a talented team behind us - thank you Alvin and Glen for your professionalism and dedication to your craft, and for helping us to create what we think is a fantastic music video.
We can't wait to share it will you all in person on the 19th.
See you there!
*Videos will begin screening at 4:30 p.m.*
